A Bad Image For Filipino Gamers

The following image is a screenshot I took yesterday from a Luna Online fansite while I was browsing for specific character guides:

Apparently, gPotato’s Luna Online Eclipse server was down last Sunday, forcing nearly every citizen of the said server to temporary migrate to Crescent server in order to kill time while waiting for their home server to go up again.

This particular shout post caught my attention, so I quickly pressed the “print screen” button and posted the cropped image online. I’m pretty sure the above image explains the reason for this blog’s title. I can’t help but to feel annoyed by ill mannered people who can’t do anything other than to complain and use foul words altogether. Tell me, is it that hard to understand that the server is on a downtime? Is it that hard to wait silently until it’s up again? For crying out loud, there’s a server update posted on game’s respective website, and it’s written in human readable format. All they have to do is to read, understand and wait if they’re not satisfied with the update. I’m sure the guys looking over the game is doing everything they can.

I had my own share of experience with people having the mentioned attitude in my years of playing online games, but it really ticks me off that they can’t behave considering they’re in a foreign ground.
